Have a question, want to discuss support or simply want to find out whether Elverra feels like the right fit?
Send us a message and tell us a little about what you’re looking for. Our team will get back to you to talk through the next step.
Tell us what you are hoping to achieve, what support you are looking for or what is currently changing in your life. We can talk through the options and help you work out what the next step could look like.
At Elverra, we take the time to understand your goals, preferences and the kind of support that would make a meaningful difference in your everyday life.
From there, we can explore the options with you, answer your questions and help you identify support that feels relevant to where you are now and where you want to go next.
Here are a few things people often want to know before starting a conversation with Elverra.
Building a good working relationship matters, so we want participants to feel comfortable with the people involved in their support.
Where possible, there can be an opportunity to meet and get to know a support worker before regular support begins. This gives you a chance to ask questions, talk about your preferences and routines, and get a sense of whether the relationship feels right.
We see support as a partnership, and that starts with making sure the people working alongside you understand what matters to you.
Consistency is an important part of building trust and strong relationships. At Elverra, our approach is to build relationships rather than simply fill a roster, so we place real value on participants having familiar people around them.
Where possible, we aim to maintain consistency in your support team so workers can get to know your routines, preferences, communication style and the things that are important to you.
There may occasionally be circumstances where a different worker is needed, such as leave or availability changes, but continuity remains an important consideration when organising support.
If having particular workers, routines or communication approaches is especially important to you, we encourage you to tell us. Those details help us understand what a positive and comfortable support experience looks like for you.
Life changes, and support should be able to respond as your circumstances, priorities and ambitions develop.
You might become more independent in one area and decide you want to focus on something new. Your routines might change, you may begin working towards employment, want to become more involved in your community or need a different level of assistance at home.
At Elverra, we keep the bigger picture in view rather than treating support as something that stays fixed indefinitely. We want to understand what you are working towards and how your support can continue to contribute to that.
Changes will also need to fit within your NDIS plan, available funding and the supports Elverra is able to provide. Where something needs to be adjusted, we can discuss what has changed and explore the available options with you and, where appropriate, the people involved in your support network.
You can contact Elverra whenever your circumstances or priorities change and you would like to discuss what that could mean for your supports.
The first conversation is an opportunity for us to learn about you and for you to learn about Elverra.
We will want to understand what you are looking for, the goals that are important to you, the areas where you would like assistance and any preferences that could influence how your support works.
That might include your routines, interests, culture, communication preferences, current supports, important relationships and what you would like to achieve over time. If a family member, Support Coordinator or another person is involved in arranging your support, their perspective can also be part of the conversation where appropriate.
It is also your opportunity to ask questions about our approach and explore whether Elverra feels like the right organisation to work with.
From there, we can consider the type of support you are seeking, how Elverra may be able to assist and what the next steps could involve.
Yes. Participants may have several people and organisations involved in different areas of their life, and effective support often benefits from good communication between the people involved.
Elverra can work alongside existing providers, family members, Support Coordinators and other members of your support network where this is appropriate and you would like us to do so.
Our approach is collaborative. We want everyone involved to have a clear understanding of their role while keeping your preferences, goals and choices at the centre of decisions about your support.
Working together can also help create greater consistency across different areas of your life. For example, information that is relevant to your routines, communication preferences or current goals may help the people supporting you work towards the same priorities rather than operating separately.
Your privacy and preferences remain important throughout this process, so information should only be shared with the appropriate people and in line with relevant consent and privacy requirements.
If you already have a team around you, you can contact Elverra to discuss where our support may fit and how we could work collaboratively with the people already involved.
